Jan Constantine Union Jack Pillow – Navy

Colour: Navy/Red/Cream

Size: 48 x 35 cm (19 x 14 inches)

This luxury designer Jan Constantine Union Jack cushion is hand embroidered on navy pure wool with cream and red appliqué detail. This is ‘the original’ Union Jack cushion, created and handmade by Jan in 2006 and it has become an iconic British classic.

The Union Jack cushion has been a bestseller in the range for many years, combining a patriotic British theme with a cool appreciation of 1960s pop art style. The cushion is handmade using traditional embroidery skills, with red cross stitch upon the strips that form the Union Jack design and cream blanket stitch around the red heart in the centre of the design and on the edges of the cushion.

Each iconic piece from the patriotic collection is lovingly hand-embroidered in part if not all and truly epitomises the Jan Constantine ethos of not only loving her country but also being proud to be British!

Jan Constantine has been identified in various magazines (including Cheshire Life) as the leader of the Union Jack renaissance of this last decade. The incorporation of a heart into the Union Jack cushion design is an original Jan Constantine idea, and softens the flag to remind us of the meaning of modern patriotism.

This striking handmade Union Jack cushion will make a special gift for your patriotic friend and is a wonderful reminder of time spent in the British Isles, for friends and family abroad.
