Jan Constantine Deep Green Willow Pattern Wool Pillow

This exquisite Willow Pattern Cushion is appliquéd and hand-embroidered with the striking combination of black and cream motifs on deep green wool. This beautiful designer cushion is the definitive item in the Chinoiserie Collection.  The intricately hand-embroidered details are an adaptation of the elaborate Willow Pattern ceramic design popular in 18^th century England, depicting the story of two young, runaway Chinese lovers. The cushion is edged in black blanket stitch, opening on the back with two mother of pearl buttons.

The Willow Pattern Cushion makes a wonderful conversation piece for any sofa or a gorgeous accessory for your favorite chair.

These lovely cushions are destined to become heirlooms of the future.  They have been made by very talented artisans, keeping alive the ancient, hands-on skills passed down through generations.
